Today we host a three day event in Cheyenne (typically labor day weekend) which includes 3 days of obedience and rally competition and 3 days of conformation dog shows. We encourage the general public to please come out and support your local dog show, come and meet a variety of breeds along with their breeders. Our annual show helps our club generate funds of which we donate back to local animal welfare organizations. The AKC offers a variety of performance events open to all dogs (purebred or mixed). The Cheyenne Kennel Club offers three trials of obedience and rally every year. Performance events are a great way to bond with your dog and have fun.We welcome new members and would love to have you as part of our club. The Cheyenne Kennel Club would love to have more local performance dog events (agility, fastcats, barn hunt, etc.) but we need more members and help to do so.

Dog breed clubs provide accurate and honest education about the breed to current and prospective owners. However, you might be interested in training or exploring more of the work your dog was originally bred to do.
